PREREQUISITE

Introductory Dermal Filler Course

This 3-hour, hands-on workshop is designed for licensed medical professionals seeking to expand their expertise in aesthetic medicine with a focused training on lip enhancement using dermal fillers. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of lip anatomy, product selection, patient assessment, and a variety of advanced injection techniques to achieve safe, natural-looking results.

Through a combination of didactic instruction and live model practice, attendees will develop the skills necessary to confidently perform lip augmentation procedures while minimizing risks and complications. Emphasis will be placed on aesthetic balance, proportion, and achieving personalized outcomes based on individual facial characteristics.

Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the anatomy and vascular structures of the perioral region

  • Review different types of hyaluronic acid fillers and their applications for the lips

  • Perform patient consultation and aesthetic assessment for lip enhancement

  • Learn and practice various injection techniques (e.g., linear threading, tenting, Russian lip technique)

  • Identify and manage potential complications (e.g., bruising, swelling, vascular occlusion)

  • Explore post-treatment care and patient follow-up protocols
